We measure our work by what comes off the line in volume, not by what passed on the bench once. That is why design, embedded software, manufacturing, and sourcing sit in the same team here rather than in four contracts that blame each other.

  1. Scope Requirements, constraints, volumes, target cost, and the regulatory markets the product has to enter.
  2. Architect Silicon and module selection, block diagram, preliminary BOM, and a costed set of options rather than a single answer.
  3. Design Schematic, layout, and the embedded software needed to prove the board actually works.
  4. Prove Prototype builds, bring-up, validation, and EMC pre-scan before anything is committed to tooling.
  5. Industrialise DFM/DFT, test fixtures, pilot run, and factory transfer with our own people on the floor.
  6. Sustain Supply continuity, component substitutions, revisions, and software maintenance over the product's life.

Three teams where the parts and the factories are

Most of what goes wrong in hardware goes wrong half a world away from the people trying to fix it. Our sourcing, design, and logistics teams are in Shenzhen, on the same side of that gap as the component market, the fabs, the assembly houses and the freight. They are staff, not agents, and each can be engaged on its own — you do not have to buy a design project to get the sourcing.

The fastest way to judge advice is to ask whether the adviser has to live with it. We do. We design, source, certify, stock, and support product under three of our own brands, through the same factories, the same component market, and the same freight lanes we run for clients. It is also why we argue for mainline, in-kernel software on client projects: our own products carry the maintenance cost of that choice, for years after they ship.
